Hosting Organisation

Horizon College is an institute for vocational education and is situated in the province of North Holland. We train young people from the age of 16 in various professions, from baker to nurse and from carpenter to software developer. We offer 130 vocational courses in technology, trade & services, health care, social care, sports & activities, and economics. Educations are offered at EQF levels 1 to 4, school-based and work-based.

Horizon College has 1,300 employees and approximately 12,000 students. We have campuses in Alkmaar, Heerhugowaard, Hoorn and Purmerend. These attractive and pleasant cities are located near the sea and the dunes, the IJsselmeer and Amsterdam. Mobility program description

For every visit we make a tailor made program. We offer more than 130 education that are open for job shadowing. We ensure you have contact with several classes with different teachers with international experience. Company visits and a cultural trip also includes the program.
