Drenthe college is a school for vocational education in the North of the Netherlands. The school provides education to both young and adults. Training courses are adapted to the needs of the companies in the region. One of the specialisations is energy transition. Drenthe college is a VET school for the levels 2, 3 and 4 in all sorts of courses. The technical department have a broad range of courses like car mechanics, electrical engineering, process operator and mechanical engineering. In mechanical engineering the student learns about welding, machining, designing and all the related subjects.
At Drenthe college you, the colleagues abroad, can job shadow at the department for mechanical engineering. Here you will join us in the workshop for welding and machining. You will also see what we teach our student in the course of 3D design. Further we show you things we do with maintenance and testing of materials. We will also show you other departments within Drenthe college and companies in the region. Also there will be a social activity to get to know each other better.
