Zavod za Novodobno izobraževanje (ZNI) core activity are mobility projects for students, unemployed persons, teachers and for businesses as support to help them develop their human resources. ZNI has extensive, 18 years of experiences in the development and implementation of various international mobility projects and exchanges. Within the framework of Lifelong Learning Programme and now Erasmus +, we have organised work placements abroad for Slovenian citizens, and work placements in businesses in Maribor for international candidates. The main objective of these programmes is for the participants to acquire work experience abroad in an international and multicultural environment.
We have established a strong and reliable professional partner network with foreign partners, hosting companies, schools and other organisations.
1. Aim of mobility projects and quality implementation
The main objective of these programmes is for the participants to acquire work experience abroad in an international and multicultural environment. ZNI’s priority lies in helping the mobility participants to achieve their personal and professional goals. The participants also benefit from our unique approach to preparations, consisting of cross-cultural, personal and professional training. This in turn ensures that maximum results are achieved through the implementation of projects for all parties involved. Staff mobility will give you the opportunity to learn more about how ZNI mobility projects are organised, about ZNI preparation program and to visit some of our hosting companies.
2. Preschool education in Slovenia
Preschool education in Slovenia is designed to provide early childhood education and care for children between the ages of one and six. It follows a structured curriculum that emphasises the holistic development of children. ZNI has very close cooperation with kindergartens in Maribor as they are hosting many our Erasmus+ students on work placement mobility. On the other hand we have also developed mobility consortium with Municipality of Maribor to implement the mobility of kindergarten teachers abroad. Staff mobility will give you the opportunity to learn more about preschool education in Slovenia and mobility by visiting kindergartens in Maribor.
3. VET system in Slovenia (professional fields: mechanics, wood technology, civil engineering)
The VET system in Slovenia, vocational education and training is primarily provided through secondary vocational education and training (VET) schools. These schools offer a wide range of vocational programs designed to prepare students for specific occupations, emphasizes practical training, allowing students to develop hands-on skills and experience in their chosen field. This practical focus equips graduates with the necessary competencies to directly enter the workforce and contribute effectively. Staff mobility will give you the opportunity to visit technical schools and companies from listed sectors.
