Erasmus Mondego is a host institution that coordinates training mobility experiences in the city. It takes care of all the stages of the mobility: accommodation, company search, mentoring and preparation of activities and cultural visits so that the beneficiaries of the mobility programme can discover and enjoy Portugal.

Erasmus Mondego‘s objective is to improve people skills and enhance their employability according to the current real needs of the labor market.

On the banks of the river Mondego, Coimbra is famous for its student life. For centuries Coimbra has been the intellectual centre of Portugal: the City of the Students, of the black capes, of Coimbra Fado, of academic life… A fantastic place to live an international training experience!

The theme of this Job Shadowing experience is open to participants’ requests to choose among the options given in the previous form. As we need to choose only one theme, I will describe Technology and informatics, but we are open to some other options.

Mondego Mobility collaborates with many local and highly professional companies specialized in Software and Hardware technologies able to develop a wide variety of tasks and strongly committed to internship experiences for students. The characteristics of the companies are varied, and the participants will have the opportunity to learn and discover different working procedures to enrich their professional experience.
