AEVA and Prevention of Drop-Offs
This mobility program addresses the prevention of early drop-offs in schools by focusing on several key areas. Participants will gain an understanding of the factors contributing to early drop-offs and learn how to create supportive and inclusive school environments. Strategies to enhance student engagement and retention, such as increasing motivation and identifying at-risk students, will be explored. The program emphasises the importance of collaboration with stakeholders, including families and community partners, to build a robust support network. Data collection and analysis will be used to inform decision-making and continuously improve intervention strategies. Reflection and planning for professional growth and sustainability of these initiatives are integral components of the program, ensuring long-term success in preventing early drop-offs.
AEVA-EPA and Inclusive School
This mobility program provides an in-depth exploration of inclusive education practices through a structured job shadowing experience at AEVA-EPA. Participants will begin with an introduction to the program’s objectives and engage in icebreaker activities to build relationships with host school staff. They will observe classroom and pedagogical sessions across various grade levels to understand AEVA-EPA’s inclusive approach. Workshops and feedback sessions will guide participants in creating inclusive learning environments, while shadowing special education teachers and support staff will offer insights into supporting diverse learners. School-wide initiatives and meetings with administrators will highlight strategies for promoting an inclusive school culture. The program concludes with reflective discussions, evaluation of the job shadowing activity, and distribution of certificates, ensuring participants can implement and sustain inclusive practices in their own educational contexts.
