The Higher Education Institute “ISIT BASSI BURGATTI” in Cento (FE) is a Public Institute specialized in Mechanics/Mechatronics, Electrotechnics, ICT, Automation, STEAM subjects, Liceo of Applied Sciences, Economics/Finance with Foreign Languages, Quadriennial course towards Green and Digital Transition (TRED). We are accredited Erasmus+ School KA1 and truly trust in an international vision of the school, giving the chance to more than 80 students/year to travel abroad. We also offer VET exchanges programs.
Our mission is to contribute to the students’ education and training through technological and innovative technics, such as AI, Visors, usage of the PC and its newest softwares and programs, while still treating the basic subjects as a deep need for our pupils’ future careers.
ISIT BASSI BURGATTI plays a leading role in all our area (motor, food and data valley) and gives solid opportunities once the students get their Diploma, also for those who want to continue their studies, through a good-quality knowledge, lifelong learning and training.
The relationship with our territory is strong: we look forwards the improvement and future perspectives, collaborating with companies and institutions.
- IT and AUTOMATION: laboratories, visors, pc usage, programmes and softwares (Python), automatic systems
- MECHANICS and MECHATRONICS: CAD-CAM lab, mill, lathe and drilling machine usage, safety at work
- ELECTROTECHNICS: automatic systems, softwares and programmes (Arduino), laboratories
- STEAM subjects: frontal lessons, interactive whiteboard, Physics, Chemistry and Biology laboratories
- INTERNATIONALIZATION and INCLUSION: chats and lessons about the different ways in which the Erasmus and te mobilities are treated and faced; ways in which the disabilities/difference are seen and faced at school.
